A population of only 10,000 people raised an enormous $50,000.00 in the small coastal town of Broome, Western Australia. One Weekend, one song, one comedian namely Russell Gilbert, one "Plucka Duck" and a whole team of people have come together to create the Kimberley and Pilbara Tsunami Appeal. The song "For The People", that became the inspiration behind the Appeal, reflects the heart felt sympathies that have been expressed throughout every nation.
